Gratitude

To my loved ones,

If you are reading this, that means that you’ve been heavy on my heart for the past 9 months. I worked hard to settle in London and make the most of that opportunity, as well as every opportunity I’ve been graced with since. However I would be remiss to not acknowledge the gratitude I feel for those who have supported me in getting here. Not just to London, but to this point in my life. I made the decision a long time ago that if something is not in God’s will for my life, that I would not force it, and that I would submit all of my plans unto Him. My ambitions to study abroad were much the same. A large part of me worried that I was forcing something that I was ultimately not meant to experience. Time after time, I threw my head against the door of opportunity, unsure if it was even the correct one. However, through your aid, your thoughts, your kind words, your advice, and countless prayers, I was able to realize the fullness of the plan that the Lord had for this period of my life, even amidst my hesitations. For that, I would like to extend my utmost gratitude. I would like it to be known that every person who’s touched my life, touched the lives of my family, has contributed greatly to me being here, to me become the man you see today. The overflow that I feel in response to that is a sensation unlike any other and for that, I would like to thank you.

Lovingly,

Kaelen Baly
